Most midi loft beds require the standard UK Single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with a wooden base. This isn't included in the cost of the bed, so we recommend taking a look at our mattress deals to find a deal that is within your budget!

Mattress
Most midi beds accept standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk comes with a safety rail to give you additional security. Some models have a fabulous pull out drawer for a trundle to sleep in or storage space underneath the bed. These can be either open or fitted with doors (please look at the product's specifications for more details).
Many midi cabins come with a desk that can be moved from one level to the other or chests. This gives children the space they need to store all of their belongings. This also means that they don't need to make use of floor space by using bulky shelving or wardrobes.
A few models have taken it a step further with cabinet-style storage that is flush mounted or part of the headboard/footboard. This is ideal to store toys and books.
